Adult Stem Cell for Fat Graft
Great news! I received confirmation that the chapter I wrote on free fat grafts in a book about the use of Adult Stem Cells I Cosmetic Surgery is being published.
In the past year or so there has been a virtual explosion of information on the use of adult stem cells derived from fat. Actually there are more stem cells in fat than in bone marrow. We can extract the extra stem cells from fat and add them to the fat we use to enlarge the breasts, the buttocks, the penis (which I use) or defects from birth, surgery, injury etc. These aid in healing and can even be added under the skin in a facelift. (More about that later).
